I get a lot of questions via Instagram DMs or over coffee about creative issues in people’s lives. I’m not sure why I get them, but I do, a lot. It seems like sometimes I can help. So I’m opening up a free advice column- style submission where I can respond publicly to more common problems. (to compliment my paid Solicited Advice postcards, where I respond to very tailored questions both verbally and visually with a physical object sent USPS.)
While I am calling this “Creative” Guidance, don’t make the mistake of separating the idea of creativity in your life from other aspects like your relationship, job, housing situation, family ties, and so on. To feel creatively free, your life must become a creation—your creation. Ask me anything.
I've tried before to write regularly for a blog, and I can never keep it up because I get too shy, or I feel like it's too "off-topic" from my art and I want to be less complex for the internet.
